within the sign of Cancer the Crab. Gardeners, farmers, and cooks will have heightened
senses, profound instinct, and increased intuition about how to better interact
with elementals, especially the undines of water (because Cancer the Crab is a
Cardinal Water sign), communicating with the sylphs of air, salamanders of
fire, and gnomes of earth all coming into effect together, and with a little
patience, all working together towards bringing an abundant yield.

this Lunar phase while making sure to use skills learned in regards to astrological
planting and harvesting is of vital import. Bring riches into your household by
sowing and reaping seeds which will produce plentiful crops for food which can

During a New Moon lunar cycle
urban and suburban gardeners will win a green-thumbs up through planting
Broccoli, Cabbage, Oats, Quinoa, Millet, Wheat, Flaxseed, Rye, Spinach,
Lettuce, Corn and Rice to name just a few familiar eatables utilizing annuals
which flourish above ground. Crops with seeds developed on the outside are best
at this portion of Luna’s phases. A New Moon is the beginning of a Waxing Moon
from New Moon to Full Moon portion of a lunar cycle. Water in the earth will be
pulled up by Luna just like Her sway over ocean tides. Although 24-48 Hours
before a Full Moon is the phase which provides an even larger gravitational
effect, a New Moon makes abundant water available for growth.
New Moon in Cancer focus is best
for planting Spinach, Lettuce, Cucumbers (an exception to the rule since the
seeds of the cucumber develop inside the produce), Chard, Endive, Corn, Parsley, or other types
of leafy green vegetables. This is also a beneficial occasion in which to
utilize the horticulture techniques of budding or grafting of trees. Making
available plentiful amounts of water for irrigation is helpful during New Moon
in Cancer phase.
